We’re happy to share that Magnet, the kitchen design specialist, has appointed Croud to upgrade its digital marketing activity and data analytics capabilities, after finding success with its enhanced online offering.

Magnet has a strong heritage in the UK’s retail landscape, founded in 1918 and with almost 200 showrooms across the country. In response to shifting consumer behaviours, Magnet has invested in delivering a more integrated omnichannel experience to its customers, making the journey from online to in-store as seamless as possible.

To help guide the business through its next phase of growth, Magnet needed a new digital marketing partner that could deliver best-in-class performance and brand building activity, demystify and connect all marketing data with more sophisticated tools, and drive real results for the business.

Croud x Magnet

“We chose Croud as our digital marketing partner for two reasons. Firstly, because of their strong track record for delivering on performance. But also because they are the right team to bring on in a consultancy capacity to guide us through our digital makeover.

Croud’s capabilities will allow us to better understand the justification behind investing in certain channels and, crucially, equip us with the data to better communicate our strategies internally.”

Adam Hart

Head of Digital Marketing, Magnet

Croud won the competitive pitch for the brief which includes PPC activity, boosting Magnet’s online presence at key points of discovery and driving consumers to its ‘Book a Design Consultation’ form landing page.

We’ve also been tasked with overhauling Magnet’s marketing data and analytics capabilities, helping uncover quality leads and optimising conversions. These insights will also help inform showroom and in-store planning, by anticipating and managing demand from online queries and consultations booked.

Preliminary results from our partnership have been positive, reducing cost-per-acquisition by 27%, alongside implementing the brilliant basics that will continue to drive efficiency.

“We have been appointed by Magnet at an exciting point in its digital evolution. The brand is ready to take digital marketing activity to the next level, and ensure its strong legacy in the brick-and-mortar retail space is replicated online too.

We are focused on delivering the Magnet team with an effective roadmap and suite of tools for continued and improved online growth.”
