Survey Says Brits Would Rather Live Without Toilet Than Facebook1 min read

It takes a lot to shock us here at Croud, but this morning we were feeling a bit disgusted after reading that adults living in Britain would rather live without a toilet than Facebook.

A study by the London Science Museum found that Facebook was rated highly in a list of items participants couldn’t live without.

The survey was released in conjunction with the Water Wars: Fight the Food Crisis exhibition, and intended to demonstrate how important clean drinking water is. The Science Museum said that the results were curious.

Other items that made the top 10 were:

1. Sunshine
2. Internet connection
3. Clean drinking water
4. Fridge
5. Facebook
6. NHS
7. Cooker
8. Email
9. Flushing toilet
10. Mobile phone / smartphone

While Facebook ranked at number five, Google and Twitter also ranked at numbers 22 and 50, respectively.

We think it is rather worrying that Brits would rather give up clean drinking water than an internet connection too!
