Jamie Hoey promoted to Managing Director of Croud Australia

Croud has promoted Jamie Hoey into the role of Managing Director of Croud’s Australian business.

The move comes at an exciting time of growth for Croud’s Sydney office, with new client wins adding to the plans to supercharge the growth of the business over 2020 and into 2021 as the digital landscape in Australia matures further.

Hoey, who recently made the move to Sydney earlier this month, joined the Croud business in 2018 and has been a key component to the growth of the business ever since. His strong rapport with clients and the internal team at Croud resulted in his move from Client Strategy Director into the more consultative role of Client Partner, in which he has been pivotal in developing Croud’s proposition and driving continued growth.

As Managing Director, Hoey will report into Global CEO Luke Smith, and will be responsible for driving overall growth and development of the Australian business – encompassing sales, marketing, operations and client strategy.

Hoey said, “I am very excited to be making the move to Sydney to further support the growth of our Australian business. Having been working with the team over the past few months, it is a great time to be making the move, as despite recent challenging times, there is a strong appetite for digital growth.

Co-founder and CEO Luke Smith added, “ We’ve been gearing our business in Australia for the future, and Jamie is the perfect person to drive the business forward, he brings with him a wealth of multi-channel client centric experience. He’s also shown exceptional appetite for the role, working night shifts from the UK before he makes the move physically. This has already had a positive impact.”
