Searchmetrics released another study into the impacts of the recent Google update to improve diversity, indicating that it did indeed improve overall diversity making it half as likely that you would see 3 listings from the same domain in the SERP; a decrease from 6.7% to 3.5%.

A study conducted by Beano Studios across 2,000 UK parents and kids found that 86% of those under 10 are using new technology to design, build and make things with 55% regularly creating video content and 36% enjoying computer coding. The study highlights the importance of video content in the future for brands to reach younger audiences and achieve search success.
Reuters Institute Digital News Report 2019

The Reuters Digital News Report revealed some interesting trends in UK news consumption with the highlight of the report being the large drop in use of computers for news viewing, which has decreased from 71% in 2013 to 28% in 2019, whilst mobile and tablet use has increased from 24% to 64%. Mobile notifications are a source of news for a fifth of UK news consumers, rising from 3% in 2014 to 20% in 2019. The report also found that Facebook is seeing a decrease in users, especially under 35s in the UK, with viewing time down by 15% compared to 2018 (though Instagram usage was up by 32%.)
Google Search Console Data Delay Resolved But Google Is Investigating
