Google Search Console adds new actions to sitemap report

Google has updated the new Search Console to include new actions to the sitemap report. This includes opening the sitemap content in a new tab, deleting a sitemap, reviewing granular details for sitemaps with errors and presenting RSS and Atom feed sitemaps.

Early data on Google March 2019 Core Update show an interesting pattern

SEL provided some analysis of the Google March 2019 Core Update which revealed it has potentially reversed the August 1st update, with many sites that saw decreases in visibility in August seeing a recovery.

Influencer Marketing: Global Survey Report

Research from Rakuten Marketing indicates that Instagram has overtaken YouTube as the most popular influencer platform with 65% of customers choosing to view its content compared to 62% for YouTube. The report also found that whilst 81% of customer were more likely to buy through an influencer shared link, 26% were more likely to spend more than £500 of items recommended by influencers. 43% of customers said they trust influencers to be honest and transparent.
