Croud welcomes to the team Emma Woolley as our new SEO intern.

Emma formerly studied Law at Southampton University achieving a First Class Honours in her dissertation and also had some of her work on Health Ethics and the Law published in the Southampton Law review.

Emma then went on to complete the City of Guilds Professional Development award in marketing at a boutique luxury kitchen company. After completing her six month placement, Emma was kept on as the Business Development Executive where she was heavily involved in the construction of their new e-commerce website.

Project-managing this venture from conception to implementation sparked her passion for digital marketing and how it can be utilised to drive exceptional customer experience. She is now keen to develop her experience across a broader range of clients and industries.

When asked why she chose Croud, Emma explains “I love the atmosphere at Croud and feel I can gain a lot from their expertise in SEO. I am also attracted to Croud and its ever-expanding international presence. I am passionate about travel having previously spent 6 months travelling and volunteering in South East Asia and recently returning from a year working in Australia.”

Emma also shared with us some her passions outside of work. “Volunteering is something I love. I volunteered in Jodie O’Shea’s orphanage in Bali where I helped teach children aged 18 months-18 years English and organised various classes such as Dance and P.E.

Apart from travelling and exploring new places I love to go wake-boarding and surfing (….well attempt to) when I get the chance and have recently started roller-derby. I’m also a keen baker; my lemon drizzle cake gives Mary Berry’s a run for her money!” We’ll be looking forward to sampling this in the office!

Emma joins us as part of the SEO team where she will learning about the industry first hand with some of the best brands in the UK and beyond. Keep an eye out for future posts from Emma where she will be sharing her experience as an intern at Croud.
