Again this year Croud are pleased to be participating in the Google Juice Bars, offering seminars and one to one digital advice workshops to small British businesses and aspiring entrepreneurs!
This year we have already held events at the glorious town hall in East Croydon, (seriously this building is worth a visit), and in Orpington and Sidcup.
A lot of small businesses are aware of various digital tools like PPC, Social Media and SEO but they are not entirely sure if it’s worth the investment for a small sized business like theirs. It’s during these Google Juice Bars that we get the chance to explain digital marketing in greater detail and answer any burning questions. During our one to one sessions we can tailor how digital marketing and Google Apps may be used for the business or business idea at hand.
Our event in Orpington earlier this month proved a success, with a fully booked morning of one to one, forty minute sessions. The Google Juice Bar took place at Bromley College where we were greeted by MP for Orpington – Jo Johnson.
Now what blond haired, cycling, Mayor, does Jo Johnson remind you of…?
After a very busy morning in Orpington the Google Gang had to quickly pack up and take a short taxi ride to Sidcup. At Sidcup, Gori our Juice Bar Co-ordinator, put on a great presentation to a full room of entrepreneurs and we were thanked by Sidcup MP James Brokenshire.
In a news report featured in the the Bexley Times, Mr Brokenshire said this about our event:
“E-commerce is becoming an increasingly important part of the economy as we change the way that we shop and do business.
This event with Google will offer local entrepreneurs and businesses the chance to pick up some new tips and ideas. Feedback from the event was really positive underlining the interest local firms have in boosting their businesses online.”
Our next Google Juice Bar is Friday 22nd February, where we will be staying in London and visiting Walthamstow. If you have any questions regarding our presence at the Google Juice Bar in Orpington and Sidcup, feel free to get in touch with us here!
