2017 has been another amazing year for Croud. Our global team has more than doubled in size, with 67 new employees joining Croud across our four offices this year.
Croud’s impressive growth was highlighted by our inclusion in this year’s Sunday Times Hiscox Tech Track 100, with our average annual sales growth over the last three years standing at 58.75%. We’ve been fortunate enough to welcome lots of brilliant new clients, including Victoria’s Secret, Amazon Prime, and AMC, and are excited to continue building on these successes in 2018 and beyond.
Croud’s US team deserves a special shout-out, having been crowned Biddable Team of the Year at the Drum Search Awards USA earlier this year, after just 18 months in the US market – an amazing achievement!
But probably our proudest moment this year was taking away the social innovation award at the Tech Track awards ceremony. This was in recognition of our Croudie network, which now enables over 1,200 digital experts to work whenever and wherever they like, provided they deliver great work. This year, our Croudies have delivered in excess of 70,000 hours of work, which enables us to deliver so much more for our clients. It’s also one of the core reasons why Croud has been recognised as the top UK independent agency for paid search by Google, leading the way in six out of eight benchmarks, including smart bidding and creative excellence.
Technology has been another key focus for Croud in 2017. With a team of in-house developers now numbering 12, we are continuing to invest in our technology and third-party tools, which underpin the business and provide our clients with complete transparency and a best-in-class service.
2017 saw lots of personal successes at Croud too, with several engagements, weddings and babies to celebrate. And collectively we raised over £11,000 for charity this year, including completing the Three Peaks Challenge in under 23 hours.
