L&C Mortgages, the UK’s largest fee-free mortgage broker and advisor, has appointed global digital marketing agency Croud as its full-service digital media agency, to respond to an increase in demand during the pandemic and support further growth ambitions. 

 

Croud’s market-leading digital expertise and data solutions offering will help L&C Mortgages better understand its rich data sets, using these insights to inform a new digital marketing strategy, with channel management now all under one agency. Prior to Croud’s appointment, channel ownership was split between in-house and agency.

 

Scope of work

Croud won the 10-agency competitive pitch, with activity starting in July 2021. Croud will utilise its advanced data solutions offering, involving automation, audience definitions and predictive metrics, to take L&C Mortgages’s marketing efficiency and effectiveness to a whole new level.

 

The scope of work also includes PPC, creative, paid social, and programmatic, with the partnership initially kicking off with data solutions and SEO support.

 

The mortgage sector experienced rapid change during 2020, leading to uncertainty for property owners and resulting in overwhelming demand for L&C Mortgages’ services. With property market buoyancy looking set to continue, 2021 is set to be an important year for L&C Mortgages as it looks to realise ambitious growth objectives.
