Croud has been appointed by Ooni, the trailblazing product company best known for pizza ovens, to lead its integrated, full-funnel global growth strategy following a competitive pitch.
As Ooni embarks on its next phase of global expansion, the brand has appointed Croud as its Global Media Agency of Record, moving the majority of media activity from in-house, marking an exciting "new chapter" to fuel Ooni’s next phase of international growth.
Croud will architect and execute the brand's media strategy, planning, activation, measurement, and analytics. The remit spans Ooni’s highest-priority markets, including North America, the UK, France, Germany, and the broader European region.
A key priority will be transitioning Ooni beyond pure performance marketing to a sophisticated, full-funnel strategy that both creates and captures demand. Powered by Croud's Return on Intelligence framework, the agency will leverage proprietary data and highly targeted market-tiering strategies to zero in on Ooni’s most valuable customer segments, and scale that pizza loving community worldwide.
The business was awarded following a four stage selection process in which six elite agencies competed in a rigorous "taste test" of technical expertise, strategic vision and cultural fit. Croud rose to the top by proving that its global-local operating mode supported by the team's global footprint and proprietary CroudOS platform could scale Ooni’s mission without losing that authentic, local touch.
The partnership officially kicked off on March 1st, and both teams are already fired up to get started.
“The Croud team stood out with all the right attributes—people, chemistry, attitude, and a disciplined pitch. We’re excited about the partnership and know Croud is the right choice for our new Agency of Record appointment,” commented Randi Wakefield, SVP of Global Marketing
Kris Tait, Chief Business Officer at Croud, added, “Being selected as Ooni’s global agency partner demonstrates the strength of our integrated global model. Powered by CroudOS and the Croudie Network, we are ready to accelerate Ooni’s growth across markets.’
The win follows a series of recent new business successes for Croud, including ITV and Global, ChapStick, and Formula E, as well as the launch of agentic Croudies as part of CroudOS in late 2025, underscoring the agency’s continued momentum and focus on innovation.
