Survey Report: Surviving the Retail Apocalypse

A report by Yes Marketing has delved into the reasons users follow brands on social media – discounts and offers are important, but people also want to see more personality and relevance with 30% of their survey respondents saying they engage more with retailers that share funny or interesting social posts whilst 35% engage if the agree with the message or sentiment. In addition, 29% of respondents engage with the retailer on social to share positive feedback versus 20% who do it for negative feedback.
