Croud headed down to Marketing Week Live 2012 to check out the latest news and meet the latest companies at ‘the UK’s premier marketing event’.

The impressive show took place at the Grand Hall in Olympia and consisted of eight separate sections for marketeers including Insight Show, Online Marketing Show, Customer Loyalty & Motivation Show and new section the Promotional Merchandise Show.

For a free show, there is a lot to see as you walk around the exhibitions, including some of the top software solutions and campaign management tools around.

All the big names including Marin Software, Experian, Kenshoo and iSpy were partnering the show and were all offering insight into the latest trends at a series of talks and keynotes around the huge hall.

The Croud team enjoyed meeting some of the smaller agencies and new companies though such as iWipey, Water-to-Go and The Dubs to find out more about their companies and marketing strategies.

The event was completely free which was a bonus, however it’s worth noting that some of the talks we attended did verge on sales-pitch rather than useful learning.
